For this Client Showcase from the professional web development and design team here at UltraWeb Marketing, we’ll be featuring the WordPress website that we recently designed up for CBD Hemp Co, an up-and-coming botanicals company located in Annapolis, Maryland.
As a relatively new business enterprise, CDB Hemp Co didn’t have much of a web presence established when they approached us for help. While they did already have an existing website, it was really just one or two “coming soon” landing pages with minimal written content and several photos that were only vaguely-related to the business’s products, services, prospective audience, and goals. Not only did our WordPress redesign completely overhaul the existing website from the ground up, taking it from a few sparsely addressed landing pages with minimal content to a fully functional eCommerce website with an easy-to-use backend, but the redesign, even complete with new a logo, did much more.
In redesigning CBD Hemp Co’s website, we provided them with a brand identity that their customers can instantly recognize. In a field that’s quickly emerging and becoming more popular every day, maintaining a positive brand identity that immediately allows your audience know what your business is about is key. In CBD Hemp Co’s case, we chose a design that evokes healthy living, effectively marketing their natural and botanical products to the targeted audience and beyond. The new design is also, of course, completely mobile-friendly, meaning that it looks beautiful and functions perfectly on any given device, no matter how big or small.
However, marketing your products online doesn’t make any sense if there’s not also a way for your audience to readily purchase said products or services. To this end, we designed and installed an effective eCommerce system for the CBD Hemp Co website through the WooCommerce development tool. This allows the administrator to easily make transactions, keep track of shipments, and supervise the company’s physical inventory.
When writing the content for the landing pages and storefront for this website, we targeted specific keywords that are relevant to the Hemp and botanical businesses, dramatically expanding the website’s SEO potential and boosting their rank in related web searches. With these keywords in the right places, we’ve greatly increased the likelihood of CBD Hemp Co appearing on the first page of a Google search.
